ACTUALIZACIÓN #4 ACW: 1861 SE CANCELA EL KICKSTARTER

Desgraciadamente hoy nos os traigo solamente buenas noticias, y es que resulta que hace unos minutos, la marca española Ghost Train Games ha anunciado la cancelación de su Kickstarter para sacar adelante su juego de miniaturas, Alternative Civil War. Todo esto se debe a que a 12 días de que finalice el crowdfunding solamente han recaudado 8,000 libras de las 25,000 que necesitan. Eso sin contar que en los últimos días les han retirado un apoyo de 500 libras.







Sinceramente me duele muchísimo tener que anunciaros esta triste noticia, pero  no todo está perdido, ya que ACW es un producto que ofrece una temática que nos ha enamorado a todos y que no debe de quedarse en una simple anécdota. Por eso, a continuación os dejo el comunicado tal y como lo han publicado, para que lo conozcáis de primera mano:

To all our fellow backers: It’s clear our campaign is not going in the right direction, sadly. We don’t want to cancel this campaign to keep it as an extra ways of communication with you all, so please don’t cancel you pledge even if the campaign won’t reach the goal, that way we can keep you informed. We’re planning a new campaign with new pledges and new funding goal, keeping all the things you like and improving what you don't. We can't give you a date yet, but we really trust our game and we think we can do great things with your help. We’ve so many stories to tell, so many awesome models to show, exciting new rules, impacting new characters… all powered by our unique setting and rules. We will make a better campaign because of you, you are awesome!

We plan to keep you all informed about our progress and be back at the right time when we're sure all things are right. Insisto que me da pena porque las dos últimas actualizaciones han sido de dos nuevas miniaturas que a nivel personal creo que son estupendas. Muy originales y fieles a la época. Según el comunicado, muy pronto comenzará una segunda campaña en la que limaran aquellas imperfecciones que han tenido en esta con el objetivo de alcanzar la cifra establecida y poder disfrutar de este maravilloso juego.
